There was a full moon last night. The haze and the smoke from the weeks fires gave it an orange glow. A thick narrow cloud crossed the center and made me feel as if the Eye of Sauron was upon me.

The burning days are back. It seems all of Southern California is on fire. The skies glow red at night and look purple-brown in the day. Ash and embers fall like rain and snow. It is sad to watch the news and see house after house turn to dust in minutes.
