Gipsy Kings

I was very surprised to learn that the Gipsy Kings come from France. Then again, the first time I saw flamenco dancing and heard Spanish guitar was in the French costal town of Montpellier.

I think Shakira is hot. She reminds me a lot of a girl from El Salvador that I used to date. She can really move. She sings, she plays guitar, what more can you possibly want? Her website is top notch. She has links to all of her videos and has lyrics to all her songs in Spanish and English. You can spend a whole day there. Check it out here.

The One



I have taken a lot of dance lessons. Salsa, foxtrot, hip hop, waltz, whatever. The only dance that really gives me trouble is tango. A sensual dance, always hot, often erotic. That’s what dance is all about.

Kinky

I saw the band Kinky at the Hollywood Bowl as part of a Latin music festival. Los Lobos was the headliner. Kinky really rocked the place. They kind of reminded me of Pink Floyd.
